Liz will work alongside programme colleagues and other members of the Partnership to help ensure that the digital innovation and use of data is central to its transformation agenda.
The Partnership’s Digital Programme, works in collaboration with the places, organisations and other priority programmes to enable the transformational change West Yorkshire and Harrogate is looking to deliver by enhancing and improving the use of digital across the system.
Its work supports NHS England’s Digital Transformation Strategy which aims to provide modern care and services that are convenient for patients, efficient for the NHS and which get people the right care for them as quickly as possible.
Liz said: “I’m delighted to support this hugely important work for our region. With the pace of developments in digital technology continuing to accelerate, we must keep pace and understand the transformational possibilities for health and care.
“I look forward to working across our city and our regional partners to help strengthen our position as a leading global player in digital and healthtech, improve health and care for local people and ultimately save lives.”
